Provider Partners Health Plans Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as Demand for Long-Term Care Continues to Rise

Columbia, MD | February 3, 2026 — As the nationwide demand for long-term care continues to grow, Provider Partners Health Plans has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the Best Insurance Companies – Medicare Advantage 2026 for its Institutional Special Needs Plans (I-SNPs) in Missouri and Illinois.

Institutional Special Needs Plans (I-SNPs) are designed for individuals who require a nursing home level of care, whether in a skilled nursing facility or at home. These individuals often depend on coordination across providers, settings, and caregivers — needs that traditional Medicare Advantage models are not always structured to support.

Provider Partners Health Plans’ recognition comes at a time when long-term care providers and families are navigating growing clinical needs, staffing pressures, and fragmented care delivery.

Recognition Details

The U.S. News Best Insurance Companies – Medicare Advantage 2026 is based on an independent evaluation of publicly available data, including plan performance, quality measures, and member experience. These ratings identify plans that consistently deliver exceptional value and service to the populations they serve.

This recognition follows recent performance results reported through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Star Ratings program, in which eligible Provider Partners Health Plans CMS-rated Medicare Advantage plans earned overall 4 Stars or higher for the 2026 plan year.

“Being included in the U.S. News & World Report recognition of 2026 Best Medicare Advantage Plans, alongside receiving strong 2026 CMS Star Ratings, underscores the strength and consistency of our care model,” said Rick Grindrod, CEO and President of Provider Partners. “It affirms our ongoing commitment to supporting individuals with complex needs through a structure designed for coordination, clinical quality, and long-term impact.
